HALL OF FAMER CONTINUES AMAZING RUN IN CLEATED FOOTWEAR AT OASIS CHAMPIONSHIP

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., February 11, 2019 – The top player on the PGA Tour Champions reached a new high with his victory – wearing cleated footwear – at the Oasis Championship. With his 39th win on the senior circuit, he has now the highest career earnings of anyone who has ever played this tour.

At the PGA TOUR’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am, 41 of the top 45 finishers chose replaceable cleat technology over spikeless/tennis shoes. Cleats were also prevalent on the footwear of the winners of both the European Tour and LPGA Tours’ ISPS Handa Vic Open, as well as the victor at the Web.com Tour’s Panama Championship.
